Hi, I’m Hannah, and I’m a quilt pattern designer.

“I wore black because I liked it. I still do, and wearing it still means something to me. It's still my symbol of rebellion — against a stagnant status quo, against our hypocritical houses of God, against people whose minds are closed to others' ideas.”

About Me

What began as a hobby for me has evolved into so much more. I’m proud of how far CBQC has come and even more excited for what’s ahead. I design clearly written patterns for quilters who have a range of experience, from beginners to intermediates. I like to use a variety of techniques in my patterns — whatever gets the job done — but for the most part, I’m pretty traditional.

What inspires me

I’m heavily inspired by my heritage and what it truly means to be an American: free and independent and protective of the liberty of all who come to these shores.

What brings me joy

Nature and gardens, plants and animals — that’s where my heart is. I like to start each day with a café con leche (no sugar) out on my front porch.
